Hey!
Making arrangements for my next week has taken up basically my entire day, and I’m definitely ready for bed – the question is, will i be too excited to sleep?

I can’t say too much cus, well, my houseguest for the next week will be my SL sister, Pixie, and it’s very possible she’ll poke her head in read things here.

All I WILL say is that it’s been 15+ years in the making, and my next week will absolutely revolve around her in the BEST way.

Hola friends!

There are many things for you again, got your cuppa?

Mila has released Yanet as a part of their Skin Fair collection (shh, i’m not that late!), and she’s a darker skinned beauty available in the 8 tones shown above. As always she comes with dark, light and no eyebrow versions along with neck fades and shine reducer!

Lotus has released the Stare Eyes at Tres Chic. I can’t remember when the event ends so if it’s unavailable at Tres Chic please give them some time to be transferred to the mainstore!

I added a little picture of the Nar Mattaru neck tattoo from the back. There is SO much detail in this I just love it, and can see it becoming a staple quite quickly.

Adorsy has released the cute “Polly” set over at Cosmopolitan for the new round starting today. Make sure you’re checking out all the options on the shorts, as there’s options to add a fishnet effect on certain parts, and there’s also some prints that’ll appear on your butt!

I was approached to blog for a really adorable new store called Peas! They’ve been kind enough to send me a few of their items including the nommy cup and fluffy keys. They’re worn separately, and come complete with a texture change hud so you can decide on the colour scheme for your bits. Love!

Stealthic has popped out this plaited hairstyle called Trace at the current round of The Fifty. It has options to add on little bows too! Please don’t forget to check out the Stealthic hairstyler hud, as there’s often options there that you’ll forget about unless you’re clicking about maniacally along with the colour hud, there’s style options and the option to chose highlights or lowlights too!

I’m wearing some nails from Veechi! They’re SO cute and come with two options, to have all of the nails have the little gold hearts, or to have a couple of the nails with a plain colour. \o/

I’m actually living my Valentine fantasy in this picture, which is quite weird, only because I struggled with this a lot.
I’m not sure how many of you might suffer with dysphoria, but I absolutely didn’t feel like myself in this look until AFTER I had edited the picture, which made standing on my platform like this feel really odd to me. I know it’s weird to associate dysphoria with an avatar when you can literally be whatever you want in SL, but when you’re me, and often don’t know who you want to be today, tomorrow or the next day, it’s actually quite a regular occurrence. I’m in no way associating with RL dysphoria. I’m sure what I experience is very low level in comparison, and I have nothing but compassion for those dealing with the implications of having such a debilitating feeling within their own unrecognizable bodies, where SL might be the only place they can really feel like themselves.
All that said, this is actually one of my favourite upper body shots I’ve done for a while. Sometimes it’s worth pushing through the discomfort, to find a new way to love yourself – and that goes for all of you on your journeys too. Follow your hearts, Spoonies, and if you’re struggling to find yourself just rest for a moment safe in the fact that you ARE in there, and worthy of love in all versions of yourself. ❤
