I’m kinda becoming the worlds worst blogger because immediately after taking this photo i changed my entire outfit without saving it, and promptly forgot all the things.
I do however, know that my eyeballs are from the fabulous Lotus, and ofc my head is Lelutka. Let’s hope I can figure some of it out for the credits!

I received news today that my landlord wants to reclaim my flat. I guess I’m moving.
My mood hasn’t been totally ruined for Christmas, but it does feel a little less sparkly right now. I have no doubt things will be just fine, it’s just one thing I was hoping to avoid having to face for another year.
In order to make myself feel better, I contentedly shopped at two fabulous events for todays look – Anthem & The Gothmas Market! I sure got some sparkles back in my avie and that’s gotta count for something, right?

I really don’t know how Lelutka do it. We’ve been blessed with Siwa for the holiday of romance and love, and now we have two extra, unexpected drops of Ubon and Tae. Today I’m featuring Ubon! Ubon could easily be Siwa’s sister. Both these new female heads are giving me Avalon vibes – in how they are so easy to mold and make -anything- from. You can totally be both a soft girl, and a baddie with just some simple tweaks. I’d actually say I might prefer the Ubon lips, and I think with a little tweaking you could get a nose similar to Zora, too. I’m absolutely flawed and in awe, as always, with the Lelutka heads. How am I going to pick a new favourite when I’m spoiled for choice with these beauties!?
Along with a new head from Lelutka, I am welcoming a new sponsor to my little blog. Nar Mattaru! Nar Mattaru is a super cute goth brand that does a little bit of everything. Clothing, Skins, Tattoos, Makeup, Bodymods, Jewelry and more. For a long time I have been in their in world group (Go join it, it’s worth it!), and an admirer of their skins, and I have periodically blogged items that they have generously added to event groups like Anthem and have at least two, maybe three of their skins that i have purchased at full price in my inventory.. You might notice that there are a few different eyes shown in the tone pictures above, and those eyeballs can be found at Mila. I was so excited to pick these up, and absolutely love every single one of them. I did mess a little with the gloss options on the lelutka hud this time for eyes, so it’s worth having a little fiddle in your lelu hud to get your eyes to look their best. There’s something about a subtle bloodshot eye that just makes it more realistic for me.

I’m actually living my Valentine fantasy in this picture, which is quite weird, only because I struggled with this a lot. I’m not sure how many of you might suffer with dysphoria, but I absolutely didn’t feel like myself in this look until AFTER I had edited the picture, which made standing on my platform like this feel really odd to me. I know it’s weird to associate dysphoria with an avatar when you can literally be whatever you want in SL, but when you’re me, and often don’t know who you want to be today, tomorrow or the next day, it’s actually quite a regular occurrence. I’m in no way associating with RL dysphoria. I’m sure what I experience is very low level in comparison, and I have nothing but compassion for those dealing with the implications of having such a debilitating feeling within their own unrecognizable bodies, where SL might be the only place they can really feel like themselves. All that said, this is actually one of my favourite upper body shots I’ve done for a while. Sometimes it’s worth pushing through the discomfort, to find a new way to love yourself – and that goes for all of you on your journeys too. Follow your hearts, Spoonies, and if you’re struggling to find yourself just rest for a moment safe in the fact that you ARE in there, and worthy of love in all versions of yourself. ❤

Once again I remind you that my favourite flowers are sunflowers. I hear that’s quite common now. Don’t bring girls roses. bring them sunflowers. Actually, take boys sunflowers too, because who can resist the sweet smiling faces of the gorgeous yellowy orange sunflowers? Instantly, they cheer me up and make me feel abundantly better. If you’re arriving from my previous blog, you might remember I spoke about redecorating my bedroom. All is finished except putting the door back on, which might haveta wait because I am but one person… but I have a sparkly green wall of sunflowers in my bedroom, and my sheets are that perfect shade of sunflowery mustard yellow. It’s my haven. My peace.
