I used to write a lot here, but since I started having therapy, i’ve mostly told my therapist instead of the world. I’m still actively in therapy, and every day I am grateful for the fact that I found someone as wonderful as I did. However! There are some things that I feel she just won’t ever understand with concerns to SL purely because of the fact she has never played it. There’s big words, “”Cognitive Dissonance” that play into the whole area of Secondlife. It’s real, you’re experiencing the things, but it’s not real, because you can’t touch, feel, smell the things. The real things are emotions, and as someone who deals with BPD – an emotional dis-regulation mental health issue, this is something that I struggle with on multiple levels, almost every day. I swing violently between wanting to have people to connect with, and burning it all to the ground and playing the ‘game’ as though it were almost single player.
The phrase “Everyone’s gonna hurt you, you just have to find the ones worth hurting for” rings in my brain like an earworm on repeat, because there’s less than a handful of people that I feel would treat me the way I intend to treat others – so does that make everyone here big nasty meanies? Or am I just so jaded I need to give it up?
At this point, say what you want and do it, but if you or your actions don’t bring me peace… don’t be weird when I peace out.

I think i’ve been burned out for a hot minute, so it’s about time I take a break. RL is really picking up again for the summer months, and i’d love to travel some again. If you don’t see much of me for the next few weeks, never fear, I shall return! Heller, Sweet Spoonies! I took a 3 hour nap today. I’m unsure if I’m going to sleep tonight, so that’ll be fun! I am still at the coast, the fresh air seems to be doing me the world of good but also making me want to put my feet up lots. We visited Sandgate today. It’s got a lovely pebbly beach, and some absolute fruitloop was swimming in the sea alone. Luckily the weather was rather lovely, and the sea was pretty calm, so I didn’t have to rescue anyone. Bearing that in mind, please excuse if the next couple of items on the docket for today are a little wonky, I’m typing on an with my laptop on my bed on an upturned tray, and things actually are a little wonky! Home tomorrow though!

Mila continues to stun with the gorgeous Gina skin at the Dubai event. She’s shown above in the 8 Mila tones, with dark eyebrows (02).

The Lotus Adam eyes are (as always) beautiful. Once again it’s hard for me to pick a favourite, but that little freckle on the two rare options just speaks to me, so if you catch me wearing these eyes for the next 5 months, just nod and smile!
Izzie’s released a highlighter set. This set is SO comprehensive! I’ve shown the ‘combination’ options at 70% above. The first picture indicates the Mila skin (in a darker tone for better clarity) with the shine reducer applied, so all you’re seeing is the Izzie’s combination highlighter options after. ALL the options shown on the combos are available as individual bom layers too, so you really can mix and match to your hearts content.
I didn’t photograph the individual options on the Lilithe’ tattoo this time, but rest assured as always, it comes with many ways to wear it!
