Ok so, when I took the above image I was super proud of myself, because i’d found out how to create water from nothing in PS. However, in doing that I kinda messed up a bunch of other things, because I was too excited by the water to notice.
I got a post rejected, because (and this was clarified to me cus I’m anxious af), the colours of the items are washed out, and don’t show up well enough on my skintone. A FAIR POINT.
Sometimes it happens. In having my post rejected it absolutely made me do a double take and have a lil re-think.
I’m not one to take a fail lying down (anymore), and although I had a little sob cus, yanno, sometimes these things will activate my ‘not enough’ – and that’s an issue for my therapist – I thought that i’d just take another snap and whack it out easy.
NO. I’m not here for easy. I did something wrong, now I fix. In the ‘new’ main photo you’ll now see the items from Cynful in three wearable options, and below are edited credits to reflect those style options.
Ultimately I learned that mistakes are okay, and if you want to fix something that was wrong, you can (hopefully, the post isn’t approved yet!!), and you can go above and beyond to do that, hopefully to show that you’re willing to learn and grow.

England really is thinking we’ve moved somewhere tropical and I’d like some air conditioning.
Seriously though, it’s not THAT bad.
You ever have a day where everything seems to be conspiring to put you in a bad mood? As I was putting on my makeup this morning, I turned my fan to face my PC and it blew down my corkboard, which promptly threw all of my desk items onto the floor, my screen onto my keyboard and my drawing tablet across the desk only to be left hanging by a wire.
I then picked up some new glasses thanks to my Dad picking me up and driving me, but I did miss a bus home and have to wait 10 more minutes.
I popped to Asda and picked up some bits, and on the way home the bottle of water i had just purchased leaked into my purse enough for me to have to juggle all the contents into my already full shopping bags and turn my purse upside down so that a rather disturbingly large puddle appeared on the pavement…
I’ve hurt my knee (idk how, I’m over 30. It just happens now apparently), poured water (from the same cursed bottle of water) over my diamond painting TWICE, and at this point i’m just waiting to burn the house down, or accidentally fall on an upturned butter knife – for maximum dramatic effect.
Ultimately though, nothing can bring me down because I CAN SEE. Thanks new glasses!
