Yesterday was my nephew’s blessing ceremony, and he hates me.
Every time he looked at me he cried.
To be honest, I can’t blame him. I’m more surprised it took him 9 months to figure out that he hated me and it wasn’t instant!
The result however, is that I will be visiting him more often so if he’s going to hate me, he can hate me with passion. And in the meantime i’ll bribe him with things. I’m not sure what things, but I’ll figure it out.
On to someone who doesn’t hate me (hopefully!), is Cinaria! We’re very lucky bunnies and get to blog Adorsy together today, so I took her camping.

There’s a few changes going on with flickr, and really I don’t know where that makes the SL community stand. I’ve tried for a long time to remain supportive of the only platform that I have had consistently since the start (and before) of my blogging ‘career’ in secondlife, but now, even though we have paid almost £70 for the joy of uploading the content we have always uploaded there, it’s becoming harder and harder to remain there and there seems to be no alternative.
As of today, I have marked my entire Flickr feed as ‘moderate’. This is because the rules now state that though your picture might be safe, if you have a link leading back to ‘unsafe’ content, your entire feed needs to reflect that.
I’ve also privated and restricted content from pre Jan 12 2023, when I moved everything over to this blog, just because that’s as good a place as any.
I’m so sorry if this means my sponsors or my non-pro followers on flickr can no longer see my work, or follow me properly. My hands are tied, and for as long as possible my work will remain here to view. If this blog ‘disappears’ and I’m still doing what I do, the same URL will be used, as it has been used for the past 8 years.
I will try to remain ‘safe’ from hereon in, but the goalposts keep moving, and I’ve never been very good at soccer.
In the future I may private my more risque’ posts here, too. But I can’t justify that just yet.
