It was my Dad’s 75th birthday last weekend, and all he wanted was ‘A cheap bottle of Malbec’. So I went to Asda and got him a £4.25 bottle. Last night he called me and told me it was the best ‘Drop of Plonk’ he’s had in a long time, could i get him more. So ofc I said yes, and come sunday he’ll have an extra 3 bottles. I love it when something unexpected becomes a new favourite, just like this bodysuit from Miss Chelsea! Buy all the things!

Ok so, when I took the above image I was super proud of myself, because i’d found out how to create water from nothing in PS. However, in doing that I kinda messed up a bunch of other things, because I was too excited by the water to notice. I got a post rejected, because (and this was clarified to me cus I’m anxious af), the colours of the items are washed out, and don’t show up well enough on my skintone. A FAIR POINT. Sometimes it happens. In having my post rejected it absolutely made me do a double take and have a lil re-think. I’m not one to take a fail lying down (anymore), and although I had a little sob cus, yanno, sometimes these things will activate my ‘not enough’ – and that’s an issue for my therapist – I thought that i’d just take another snap and whack it out easy. NO. I’m not here for easy. I did something wrong, now I fix. In the ‘new’ main photo you’ll now see the items from Cynful in three wearable options, and below are edited credits to reflect those style options. Ultimately I learned that mistakes are okay, and if you want to fix something that was wrong, you can (hopefully, the post isn’t approved yet!!), and you can go above and beyond to do that, hopefully to show that you’re willing to learn and grow.

Hai! The Game of Thrones inspired “Cersei” dress from Enfant Terrible made me do a little research. Now I truly hate to be that person, but i watched one episode of GoT, had no idea what was going on and promptly forgot it existed, until I couldn’t – and by that point I had no desire to watch it anymore. Therefore, who the heck is Cersei? I found one quote of hers on a random website that google provided to me, and it was “An unhappy wife is a wine merchant’s best friend”. That was all I needed. In my head she’s a semi-alcoholic, bitter lady who was pushed into an unhappy marriage. Then I found out she’d also banged her brother in a sordid affair to have him impregnate her. Not gonna lie, I still don’t wanna watch GoT. BUT THIS DRESS IS CUTE!
