For the first time in a long time, I walk into a new year with trepidation.
For me, this is a really big thing, as for so long I allowed myself to feel nothing but the numbness of my mental illness, and now having stepped out of my comfort zone, and being met with some very discomforting RL news regarding my accommodation, i’m ready to move along. Ready, but still fearful. But that’s okay, because like my therapist says, you can’t have a real adventure without being a little scared.
