Nar Mattaru’s skin fair offerings are still available at the event, and as one of the items prepared for it, I’m showcasing the new version of the Nar Mattaru Ebody Reborn skin, and also the Soft Belly Mod – which although has been present for quite some time, has the reborn skin optimised for it’s useage.

I’ve prepared two pictures so that you can see a before and after of the mod. It’s really quite subtle and beautiful. On the left you can see how the reborn body looks without it, and on the right i’m showing with the mod. You can see on the right that the most prominent feature of the belly mod is that the bellybutton is far more sunken, which immediately gives the little ‘pooch’ of chonk under the belly button a far softer look.

The mod is BoM compatible, so will absolutely work with all of your current ebody reborn skins, however, the belly button might become a bone of contention. Most skins I have tried on with the Mod have had the belly button inserted in a place that works for the mod (I’ve tried the skinnery, lueur and glam affair so far!), but there’s no doubt that this new version from Nar Mattaru works the best, since it was created with the mod in mind.

The mod has compatibility with the reborn materials, and any material made specifically for reborn. You just need to wear it and the scripts will pick up your materials and match the belly to the body without you needing to do any more.

I really enjoy how this mod looks. I don’t think it’s an essential by any means, but if you spend a lot of time naked, or semi naked, and really enjoy that gentle little pooch chonk, I think it might become slightly MORE essential :P. I did a little test and it also works with some of the slimming deformers from MT specifically, and i’ve only had an issue with fitting it on ONE shirt, which is from Ameth who tend to put mods in their clothing too, so if you’re going to use it with a non-reborn mod (like the juicy boobs for example), you might want to demo the mods together initially. The soft belly mod DOES work with most of the other clothes I wore that is just made for Reborn, I specifically tried these panties from Minuit, and some shorts from Gaia and a Candydoll Skirt.

OOP! Popping back in to let you know that there’s a mesh dev kit if you want to make belly piercings or things that are rigged closer to the navel itself, AND the mod also comes with an alpha hud – your ebody reborn hud will not hide the mod, but you can absolutely do so with the alpha hud that comes provided. Ok I think that’s really it this time! Definitely go check it out!!
