Oh boy, hold on to your panties because although I may be a little late to the Lelutka Update party, I have some things for you!
Let’s talk about the updates to 3.1!
What is new with 3.1?
HUD: – Evolution Classic heads have now been updated to 3.1.
The updates are still rolling out, so please be patient while Lelutka make the necessary changes, and remember how extremely lucky we are to have such a beautifully giving brand who works hard to ensure all their items are updated with brand new features!
– You can now find EVO and EVO X toggle buttons across all heads.
This button might well become your best friend. Do you have a favourite skin for your current version of the head you’re wearing? NEVER FEAR, you can still wear your fave skin with your evoX head. The only issue you might encounter is when you add your elf-ears on, as they will remain untextured. However, there’s a few layers for your ears inside your Lelutka Head package that you can play around with. They look a little different to tattoo layers, having been created for the universal layer (Which means they’ll always appear underneath your tattoos, so you can use more add on layers for customization), but hopefully skin creators catch on quick, and add EvoX ear packages to their non evox head skins too. Cross your fingers!
– Option to blend or mask lashes have now been updated.
As you can see there’s 12 preset options for your EvoX head eyelashes. You can of course, still use your Evo Lashes (At least, I’ve found all my evo lashes still work with the evox heads so far, and sometimes my older lelutka lashes work too but that’s a little more hit and miss). There’s your basic blend and mask buttons, just click if you have a fringe or bangs that your eyelashes are conflicting with, and you can use that slider to optimize the look exactly how you want it. You can also hide your lashes individually from top and bottom (very handy if you’re wearing an eyepatch, or have bangs that slide over one eyeball), and of course choose the length of your lashes via the lash length option right at the bottom.
– Save slots have been removed for Eye Socket, Lashes, HD Brows, HD Eyelids, and HD Lips as we now have a Style HUD.
I haven’t played with this too much yet! I do think it’d be super handy for those who like to save specific outfits and therefore might like their makeup to match. I think if you made multiple copies of this hud, named the same as your outfit and then saved them along with all your clothing you could save yourself a bunch of time trying to find that perfect lipstick you had four nights ago on your date! I look forward to toggling a bunch of these for my own personal favourite looks, and will update you when I’m more familiar.
– We now have a total of 18 eyes, an additional 6 have been added.
I’m wearing the new added green eyes in my Lilly Photograph! Of course you need to remember to wear your lelutka head eyes in order to use these, but you can also use any eyeballs you like inside your head assuming they’re either standalone mesh, lelutka appliers, or if you’ve purchased the Lelutka Omega System Kit, you can use any Omega eyeballs too!
– We now have a total of 6 eye brows, an additional 2 have been added.
Second party eyebrows will still apply via the HD option on your head, however, you’re going to need to purchase different eyebrows if you prefer to use BoM due to the different maps, or you might find your eyebrows on your chin!
– We now have a total of 8 eye shadows, an additional 2 have been added.
YES! You can still use your favourite HD eyeshadows! Similarly with the eyebrows, any BoM eyeshadows you might have will need to be repurchased for the EvoX version of your head.
– Alpha Mode has been added to the lip area, when you use the Mask option, you will be able to manipulate how much of your lipstick with show.
You can find this option at the bottom of the lips section under the “HD” button on your hud. It works similarly to the eyelashes, in that you can now use the slider to fiddle about and get that lipstick/gloss just perfect!
– Layer Materials (None) HD Complex has been added under settings, includes HD Brows, 2 HD eye shadow layers, Lashes, Eye Sockets and HD lips – Clicking these buttons will remove materials from matching layers, removing materials will eliminate Hair/Head alpha interaction (if hair has materials enabled), leaving your Head layers, alpha clipping free. This means the glossiness of any of these layers will be removed.
I absolutely need to figure out more here and do some reading. I’ll get back to you on the next head update I make as to what differences these new buttons make!
Scripts: – Scripts have been polished to reduce lag, and make the hud and heads operate smoother and respond faster.
Big thanks to Lelutka for considering the lag monster and making their heads evermore lag friendly. Add to that a faster response time with the hud? Well thank you very much!
Don’t forget that all the heads now have the add on Elf Ears. One of the most common questions I’m asked is “How do I make my ears wiggle?”
and hopefully that’ll help you give your new elf ears that lil twitch you so desire!
Be sure you open up ALL your new things inside your head folder, there’s a whole box of fabulous BoM goodies inside labelled “Unpack – Addons – Lel EvoX Bom” where you can find your ear tattoos, makeup, freckles, scars and more to adorn your pretty faces!
All credits to the three looks i’ve created are down below, check them out!
Make it a beautiful day, Spoonies. You’re worth it. xoxo.
